Pastor Funderburk serves as the Senior Pastor of Clover Garden AME Church, bringing more than 15 years of ministry experience and a genuine heart for serving God’s people. He is passionate about community outreach, clear and practical biblical teaching, and helping individuals and families grow stronger in their faith and closer in their relationship with God.

Pastor Funderburk holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Throughout his ministry, he has remained committed to sharing the Word of God in ways that are meaningful, relevant, and encouraging, while fostering a church environment where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to serve.

As he begins this new chapter of ministry at Clover Garden AME Church, Pastor Funderburk looks forward to building relationships within the congregation and the surrounding community, honoring the church’s rich legacy while prayerfully working toward its continued growth and future.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Funderburk enjoys photography, hiking, and reading. These interests provide opportunities for reflection, creativity, and an appreciation for God’s creation.
